In 2007, Bringing Our Community Home began the implementation of the 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness in Santa Barbara County.
Bringing Our Community Home works to ensure that every chronically homeless individual in Santa Barbara County attains a safe and lasting place to call home. Through an innovative collaborative model, we engage people wherever they are found.
Our goal is to move those who are chronic residents of the streets into housing with supportive services, once and for all.
This website is dedicated to BOCH’s first Executive Director, Roger Heroux, whose fight for the rights and dignity of the chronically homeless has inspired us all.
